Founded ZIMMA Corporate Finance in 1999. Has worked in the financial sector since 1985, in Citibank as Managing Director of the Risk Capital Investments Group, in NOMURA Securities as Managing Director of the Investment Banking Group, and in DLJ as Managing Director of the Investment Banking Group. Previously served as CEO of a company in the industrial sector, after holding the same position in a services company.
During his thirty years in the financial sector, he has closed multiple M&A transactions, financial restructuring and valuations of ongoing companies, as well as equity and debt financing deals.
Earned an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico UNAM in (1971), and an MBA from Harvard Business School in (1975).
Has been or is currently being member of the Board of Directors of several companies like FEMSA, TEXEL, CINTRA, SERFIN, CORVI, NAFIN, DICIPA, PROVEQUIM, RELIANCE, LENOX and PLIANA.
