Established more than 50 years ago and acquired by new owners, the company was dedicated to the fabrication and sale of packaged puddings, gelatins, and noncarbonated beverages. After 12 years running the business, the shareholders decided to sell.

Thanks to its well-known brand name and incipient exports to the US, the company was eventually sold to Grupo LALA, which presented the winning bid from a group of Mexican participants.
