Grupo CORVI

Grupo Corvi is Mexico’s leading grocery distributor, with sales greater than US$1 billion and national coverage.

In 2006, the Grupo Corvi shareholders retained ZIMMA to search for a strategic partner that could inject capital to promote new business and ensure greater solidity in Grupo Corvi’s development.

After contact had been established with various participants in the market, both Mexican and foreign, an investment commitment was obtained from Grupo Chileno. However, the crisis of August, 2008 canceled the possibility of this transaction in spite of the institutions’ mutual interest.
